Michael Haddix: who is a lover of super sport cars.
I can remember as far back as pre-school we had this huge rug in the middle of the classroom floor with a city theme. It had roads, buildings, and even landscaping such as trees and bushes. I would take little toy cars that I made and push them following the roads and even racing my classmates.
One year for Christmas my parents gave me a play station two and they gave me this awesome racing game called “Burnout” and I played this game all day and all night. It was so interesting to me because of all the new cars I learned and how detailed they were in the game was just fascinating to me. Once I mastered the game my parents gave me this motorized monster truck called “Gold-digger” and I loved this thing with my life. I would go outside every single day and drive that truck around. My parents even had to put an alarm on my door because I would sneak out in the middle of the night to go ride it since the truck had some really cool head lights on it.
I believe my love for super-sport cars came when I started learning about Lamborghinis and Porsches. These cars are so awesome and are so fast it was unbelievable to me! But I think were the root of all love I have for cars has come from my family. I remember my father taking me up to Charlotte to go see Nascar races. Much of my family collects cars and even on occasion uses them for competition. For instance, my uncle won the harvest festival car show last year with his 71’ Plum Crazy Challenger. I one day hope to become a racer or even a professional driver and live out my dream.
